hey there!

I'M NATHAN RIVERS

I am a proud Asheville Native. I grew up running through these woods, diving into these clear streams, and making all of WNC my backyard.

Officially I went to University for Entrepreneurship, where I learned to balance running my business with my love for making student films and traveling photographing everything and everyone I could!

I truly love my job, making my work with all of you, and telling your stories.  Photography and filmmaking are my passions and the best part is getting to meet so many new people.

I spend the lion's share of your time with you on your important days and I understand how much of a privilege that is.  My favorite compliment I often receive is how my energy added to someones day, and that I am able to meet people where they are, and guide them along the way to where they are going.

Where do you wish to go?

 BRIDGING THE GAP

Ira Glass talks about "The Gap."  Do you know about this?

The gap for creatives is a bridge you must build between having high standards and taste and then setting out to create for yourself.  I bridged this gap while living in Busan, Korea for 2 years.  With incredible and novel subject matter, I worked for numerous publications and travel companies, honing my skills, working with folks from all over the world, and deepening my love for the art of telling a story through imagery.

Since 2014 I have been home, in Asheville, photographing weddings, engagements, elopements and more!

If we have a similar aesthetic, I'd love to tell your artistic, wind blown, story.

I LOVE WORKING WITH PEOPLE WHO

own their character and passion

Everyone has their own passions and unique character.  I work to shine a light on who you are in the most artistic and loving way possible.

I adore my friends and love to travel, document, and create.

What do you love?
